Official Opening of Brentwood Open Road

Open Road is delighted to announce the opening of our new treatment centre in Brentwood, Essex.

Open Road is delighted to announce the opening of our new treatment centre in Brentwood, Essex.

The centre was officially opened on Friday 12th November 2010 by Mike Gogarty, Essex Director of Public Health. The new centre is based in The Holly Building on the site of the former Highwood Hospital, Ongar Road, Brentwood.

The centre is open for anyone to contact regarding drug and alcohol problems. Open Road offers a drop-in service, assessment and a range of treatment options.

The launch of this centre further develops and strengthens Open Road’s services in Essex, allowing us to help many more people and continue to forge strong links with local healthcare organisations.

Sarah Wright, Chief Executive, said of this opening, “This is an exciting development for Open Road to serve the community in Brentwood. Our dedicated team of professional staff and volunteers will be providing a range of services. We will be working with a range of other healthcare agencies to provide a comprehensive service for individuals and families affected by drugs and alcohol.”
