Baroness Angela Smith visits Open Road

Labour Shadow Home Office Minister, Baroness Angela Smith will be visiting Open Road’s head office in Colchester on Tuesday 21st April, to discuss the services we provide and to meet staff and volunteers from frontline services.

Baroness Angela Smith is a former MP for Basildon as well as an Essex Peer. With the approaching general election on Thursday 7th May, Baroness Smith will be meeting with Open Road Chief Executive Sarah Wright in a campaign visit to discover more about the charity and possibly get involved with future events.

In 2015 Open Road will be celebrating 25 years of delivering high quality services to empower individuals and families to recover from the harmful impact of drugs and alcohol. Every year Open Road helps thousands of individuals and their families to combat their drug and alcohol addictions, offering a range of one to one support, group therapy and harm reduction services.
